Summer Skies
Summer brings so much with it, blazing days and brilliant blue skies, but also a few cooler evenings and storms. The clouds are so different with each season, here’s a pic i took last night just before the daylight disappeared.

Following my exhibition, I have been a bit slow to pick up my camera again and start taking more pics for my personal work, but, love is a funny thing and constantly draws you back in. I walked outside today, 10:30am and saw this…
Sunrise

In the busyness of the world around us, taking a breath and looking upwards at these beautiful clouds that rarely grace our skies is a perfect way to remind us of the beauty all around us
Concentration
It’s amazing what happens when you surrender and concentrate on what you want. Things are starting to pan out so well for my images for my exhibition. I won’t be using this one, or any of the ones i post up here, but it’s all work towards the final images. October 28th is moving closer…
One Step at a Time
With so many files to work with, it’s nice to be able to play around and work on them and see how many steps I have made between the first files I shot and now. I love these colours, they are inviting and peaceful.
Progress
I have been out to La Perouse so many times and have shot so many images, I feel like i have enough material to work with for the next step which is working on the files and sending one off for a test print. The small test we did last week has given me a good guide on how to treat the files. This image is one of my favourites for the colour pics, and a good guide for how to treat my exhibition files.
Monday Afternoon
Every day I marvel at the clouds, the sunrise and sunset. The colours are always changing and the depth of the sky is constantly breath taking.
This is a pic from yesterday afternoon whilst I was out shooting for my exhibition. I wasn’t thrilled with the pics I shot for the exhibition, too contrasty, but this shot was just one I took once the sun had dropped too low to shoot anymore and Harry and I were just enjoying the last light.
It was just an ordinary old Monday afternoon, and this is mother nature, reminding us all to take a breath and look upwards, and also inwards.
